Be the Good

Every Sunday before my Young Single Adult ward I have to find a parking spot, which is way easier said than done. It's also been snowing like crazy lately, which makes parking even a harder challenge because half the parking lots are taken up by massive blobs of snow. Anyways there is this car, and I wish I could take a picture of it but I don't want someone to get mad at me. So, the car on the right side bumper is pretty much trashed, you can totally see the inside around the brake light and I'm surprised the brake light hasn't fallen off yet.

However, there is this blue vinyl lettering that is on the back window that says Be the Good. And I love this car because of the combination of the two things. Here you have this car that's been through a lot, but yet it still proudly proclaims: Be the Good.

This is a perfect metaphor for life, everyone comes in different shapes and sizes. Everyone has a different background and sometimes you might feel like that car. Broken, but somehow still functioning.

No matter what you always have the chance to be the good in the world. There is too much darkness in this world but even a smile could change someone's life. Life can be hard, and just down right bad sometimes. But just like that car, you can do it. You can give someone a smile, you can keep going. And even if there is no one around, try to be the good in your own life. :)
