Best Places to Find Clothing for Your Mission!

So this is going to be a list of places I looked at, or bought things from before I went on my mission. I know for a lot of you it's hard to find clothing (I am fortunate to live in Utah) but for many the options are kind of limited. So here is a massive list of online clothing stores that have good quality products (honestly half of it comes from Mikarose anyways ;) ) I have not been asked to promote any of these sites, and I am just listing them to be helpful. :)

1. Mikarose. Here is a link to their website: http://mikarose.com/?SID=stbjg9vre13r2i0p65v6qhv2i3
This place is amazing!!! Seriously amazing, pretty much all of my clothes come from here. I wore my lace dresses from here A LOT and not one of them has fallen apart so super good quality. For those of you who live in Utah like their facebook page! Twice a year they have warehouse sells, I got a 40 dollar skirt that was slightly dirty (the spot came right out) for five bucks. Trust me you want to go to those sales! Plus they have a sister missionary discount! For those of you in Utah, the store is located in the University Mall in Orem. (Lol, here is a picture of all the lace dresses I own from Mikarose I pretty much owned a dress store in the MTC)

2. Sister Missionary Mall: http://www.missionarymall.org/store/sisters. I got this adorable white lace over shirt here and seriously I got a ton of compliments about it. (Plus it was only twelve bucks!) For those of you who live in Utah they are located pretty much across the street from the University Mall, and in the same parking lot as the Missionary Mall.

3. Sweet Salt: https://www.sweetsaltclothing.com/. I love their clothes!! They occasionally have pretty amazing sales. I got a lot of plain tees from here and wore my white lace over shirt from Sister Missionary over them. They don't give Sister Missionary Discounts, but the sales are heavily discounted (imagine 5 shirts for 30 bucks discounted) so just watch for those.

4. Sorella Bella: http://www.sistermissionaryclothes.com. This place has a lot of greats clothes and a lot of them come from Mikarose and other modest clothing retailers. I found a shirt here that I had been trying to get at Mikarose for months but it was always out of stock, so this is a great place to look at! They don't give a sister missionary discount.

5. She Traveled: http://shetraveled.com/shop/ I didn't get my clothing here, but I did get my super adorable shoulder bag here! I used it my entire mission and I still use it now that I am home. Some sisters in my mission had clothing from here and they absolutely loved the clothes. They do have a Sister Missionary Discount.

6. Down East Basics: https://www.downeastbasics.com/. So all my undershirts since like forever come from Down East Basics. Their dresses/skirts don't fit me very well (curse my narrow shoulders....) but a ton of sisters I know pull their dresses off beautifully. I love their shirts too. They are located in a lot of malls, but if they aren't in your mall have no fear you can find them online too. :) They don't give a missionary discount.

7. Latter Day Sister Missionary: http://latterdaysistermissionary.com/. So I diddn't get anything from here, I wanted one of their skirts so badly but they were just out of my price range. I would have loved a reversible skirt on my mission!! Plus they have a lot of cute things! I don't know if they give a Sister Missionary Discount.

8. Modli: https://modli.co/. They have a TON of modest clothing options. Like Sorella Bella, most of their clothing comes from other modest clothing retailers but this is a great place to find cute things. I do not know if they give a sister missionary discount.

9. The last one is Shabby Apple: http://www.shabbyapple.com/clothing/view-all/. Like Latter Day Missionary I wanted clothes from here so badly but warning they are kinda pricey. But hey they have sales pretty often!

Hope this list helped!!

  1. Thank you so much for your advice! I actually have already bought all of my clothes for my mission (and was looking for anything specific for my own mission, Omaha Nebraska, trying to see if there are any coats/boots that would work best for that mission but so far no good haha!) but I really appreciate what you shared! That's awesome!
