Why I Chose my Blog's Name

I love every time in the scriptures where Christ says that he is the light of the world. I have always loved sunshine and I thought about using the word Dawn, but I liked the image of the sun at noon day. Where the day is at it's brightest, hence daylight. In the dark times of our lives it can be hard to find some light, but the light of Christ can always be found in our lives no matter how difficult it is. Whether it is a smile from someone, an unexpected gift, or maybe just even a better day. He is always there watching out for us. Because again, he knows what it feels like to be us. I have struggled so hard to find the daylight a lot of the time, but He has shown me over and over again that he's never going to leave me alone. Never, because don't we all have the most amazing big brother ever? He knows what we need, when we need it. And sometimes it's going to be a storm, but we have to keep walking we have to keep going because the light is there it's going to come. We just have to have faith that it is there. And it's not easy all the time, sometimes it feels downright impossible but we are told that if we have faith like a mustard seed then we can move mountains, a mustard seed is about the size of a pinhead. So like what Elder Jeffrey R. Holland has told us, we need to "Hold onto the ground [we] have already won, even if that ground is limited." So even if all the ground we have is less then a size of a pinhead we can do this. We can keep walking, because the best is yet to come.
